Julia PuczyńskaOF COUNSEL
- Specialist in selected issues of artificial intelligence, particularly in the areas of modern identification technologies, as well as deep data analysis. She combines deep theoretical and research knowledge with practical analytical and verification skills.
- Her knowledge supports the DT’s multi-disciplinary New Technology & Digital Transformation Team, with a special focus on issues related to artificial intelligence, in particular, the use of algorithms for generating synthetic content (commonly known as deepfakes). Her expertise includes identifying such content, assessing the associated legal and ethical risks, and developing solutions to help prevent misuse.
- Since 2023, she has been pursuing doctoral studies at the TIB PAN School of Doctoral Studies. She is also a PhD student at IDEAS NCBR sp. z o.o., where she conducts research under the supervision of Prof. Piotr Sankowski in the area of facial composites and facial recognition systems.
- She holds an interdisciplinary academic background. She graduated from the Faculty of Graphic Arts at the Academy of Fine Arts and studied psychology as part of the Interdisciplinary Individual Studies in the Humanities and Social Sciences (MISH) program at the University of Warsaw. She also completed a Master’s degree in Forensic Science with a focus on general criminology, also within the MISH framework.
- She has been involved in activities including open-source intelligence (OSINT), criminal analysis and information verification, and also served as a social media analyst at DeCode9 and supervised the “Zgłoś Trolla” project implemented in cooperation with the Geremek Foundation.
