Attorney – member of the Krakow Bar Association. Sabina graduated from Jagiellonian University in Krakow, where she obtained her master’s degree in Law (2010) and Ph.D. degree in Law with a specialization in Civil Law (2014), as well as from Queen Mary University of London, where she obtained her LL.M. degree in International and Comparative Dispute Resolution with a specialization in International Arbitration (2016).
Sabina studied also at Warsaw School of Economics (post-graduate studies – Academy of Companies, 2012) and London School of Economics and Political Science (specialist courses in Commercial Law and International Commercial Litigation and Arbitration, 2012). Additionally, she attended ICC Arbitration & ADR Training Programme, organized at Jagiellonian University in Krakow in a collaboration with the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC) and the Polish National Committee of the ICC (ICC Poland) (2015).
Associate of DT since 2017. Before joining DT Sabina worked in one of the leading dispute resolution law firms in Poland.
Sabina specializes in Civil Law, Contract Law and Commercial Law, as well as in International Private Law and Dispute Resolution with a particular focus on Arbitration, Mediation and other forms of Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR). She is an author of numerous publications in these fields, including a monograph on pre-contractual liability for unfair negotiations published in 2016. She regularly participates in conferences and gives workshops and lectures on subjects matters of her specialization.
She has an extensive experience in handling complex domestic and cross-border litigation and arbitration proceedings, with a particular emphasis on international commercial and investment arbitration. The scope of her professional practice covers particularly disputes in civil, corporate and commercial matters, including, among others, construction, infrastructure and energy disputes in such sectors as oil and gas, electricity and renewables. She represents domestic and foreign Clients at various stages of proceedings before state courts and arbitration tribunals, including settlement discussions, interim relief proceedings, and recognition and enforcement proceedings of arbitral and court decisions. She also analyses, reviews and prepares commercial and civil contracts, as well as provides Clients with advice and support during contract negotiations.
Since 2017 Sabina is a board member of the ADR Commission of the ICC Poland.
